52/52 - end of the 52 project!

Once again, another year just flew by… 52 portraits up! I love the satisfaction that comes with a completed project: the end of my 52 project. This photo, of you Sophia, taking your own photos represents the main reason for stopping here. I have really enjoyed documenting how you bloomed in the last 4 years, but now you have become a precious bright girl, walking with braveness and wisdom your own path. So, I shall respect that.

I am drafting new projects for this space, later this year, once the PhD has been submitted. So, do come by.

Gorgeous girl, your turned today four. 

We celebrated with lovely friends, a tiger cake, a whole morning exploring the amazing gifts, a pancake tower, your first (blue) bicycle, and the corresponding first fall. 

All in all, it was a beautiful celebration of all what you are… a bright young soul, that take things as they come, with your deep blue eyes, ears and generous hearth wide open. Your little light shines strong infusing life around you with braveness and wisdom. 

On your fourth trip around the sun, I feel so grateful for all the magic and lessons you have brought into my life. And wish that you keep true to yourself and always remember that you are loved and the littlest thing that ever stole my hearth.

Farewells have started in Hinterzarten – It is time to close this chapter. Here, you are with Bjarne and Corner, your ‘beste Freunde’... in an afternoon that left you for a few days with a beautiful smile. 

Fortunately, we have already learnt that closing a chapter, means open a new one in other part, and that every phase always brings wonderful people to our life.
